Hello, and welcome back to Five Star Fridays! I’m your host Ellie Kime, founder of The Enthusiast & Co and writer of Eleanor Mollie, and Five Star Fridays is where I share the small business love — both by highlighting small businesses who I think are doing a bang-up job, and by encouraging you to do the same.
You can see previous instalments of FSF here, or by hitting the “Five Star Fridays” tab on my homepage (don’t mean to brag, but I’ve figured out how to make these preview feature bits smaller and less overwhelming. YOU’RE WELCOME).
For the fourth fortnightly instalment, today I’m giving five (metaphorical) stars to: Goose Glitters.
Why metaphorical, you ask? Well, if I could shower Laura in real stars I would — and look, in the immortal words of Justin Bieber, never say never. However, the actual review I left Laura was on a feedback form that she sent round after I attended one of her workshops. Even though this isn’t public-facing, it’s so important to help small businesses continue to grow, so I always try and send feedback when I can!
This is the second time I’ve been to a workshop and the third time I’ve worked with Laura and every single time I’ve absolutely loved it. The workshops are so much fun, relaxed and comfortable, and Laura is the hostess with the mostest, guiding everyone with as much or as little help as they need. I’ve been with both family and friends, as it’s the perfect creative outlet. To be honest, I want to attend every week!
(And if you’re like why does this gandery gal look familiar? She designed the cover for VORACIOUS 1. I unearthed the original in a moving box the other day, and I can’t wait to frame it and put it on my wall!)
As always, FSF is as much about you as it is about these businesses — so take this as your friendly (but firm) reminder to leave a 5 star review for a small business you think deserves the world. Don’t forget to share it with me here, too:
