Remember back in Five Star Fridays #2 when I mentioned that we’re not just talking about Google or website reviews here, but on more specific levels too? That time, it was podcasts; this time, it’s apps.
In particular, the Storygraph app. I happened upon Storygraph when I was looking to de-Bezos my life (I regret to inform you that Goodreads is owned by Amazon. Boo!) Not only is it the anti-Bezos (it’s POC-and-partially-female-owned) and looks like it was created on internet post dial up (which can’t be said for Goodreads), it has a whole host of cool features that add to the reading experience. Things like the data insights and the reading challenges are really fun ways to add even more to your reading game. If you fancy connecting on Storygraph, pop your username in the comments below, or alternatively you can find me at @alohaellie.
Here’s the review I left The Storygraph on the App store:
Must-have for readers and book lovers
I love using Storygraph to track my shelves, my wishlist, how much I’ve read in a year, and so much more. The data visualisation is really sweet and super insightful too!
Thanks for reading this edition of Five Star Fridays! As always, please do take this opportunity to leave a small business you’ve recently had a good experience with a 5 star review. It has such a huge impact :)
I'm a big Storygraph fan too, I could never get on with Goodreads not matter how hard I tried.
Ooo! I don’t have any connections yet either! I’m @lottielizzie :)
