I remember doing this careers test so vividly (also went to school in Scotland) mine came back with fence erector!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… I went into product design in the end so maybe there are some parallels there? πŸ€” they were definitely having a laugh with that test though. Would love to find the person who made itπŸ˜‚

I was told I should be an army major or a farm manager. This was in an inner city school. We all pranked our careers advisors and told them we wanted to be careers advisors. By about the fourth one they realised.

This was so interesting! What a good read! :) When I was in primary school they got us 'assessed' by psychologists through drawing and writing tasks and they never discussed it at parent-teacher conferences or met with our parents to tell them what's what. My mum found out about the assessment when I came home extremely upset because I had to draw my family and apparently 'I did it wrong'. These teachers sure know how to ruin our self-esteem with no context. No wonder we are on the internet unveiling our deepest scars to strangers. Anyway, collectively, we're doing great. Considering.
